Volunteering

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Bristol Museums. Here are our current opportunities:

• Join the Visitor Experience and Operations Team as we launch our Space Shanty Experience at M Shed! This is a unique volunteering opportunity to become a guide for visitors and help them engage with various activities throughout the interactive experience. This is a fixed-term volunteer opportunity from 15 July to 1 September. To apply, please visit our volunteer portal. Deadline for applications is 10 July. 
• Volunteer with us for Bristol’s Brilliant Archaeology Festival at Blaise Museum on Saturday 13 July. We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help us run various activities at this big family-fun event. Please complete the registration form by Monday 8 July to register your interest:
• The Working Exhibits team at M Shed are looking for volunteers to help run their ticket office. If you are interested in this role, please email the Working Exhibit Managers Chris and Bill to arrange an informal interview.

Our next round of recruitment for general museum volunteering opens in August for our September induction.
