Family Holiday Activity: Create a masterpiece

Come to our family holiday activity and create a masterpiece inspired by John Constable’s iconic painting The Hay Wain. Explore the art galleries and gather ideas, then create your own artwork depicting a real or imagined landscape.

Also, help us create a special reproduction of this iconic painting. We are dividing a colour image of it into separate numbered pieces and asking visitors to copy individual parts on A4 paper using pencils and coloured crayons. The assembled artwork will be displayed in the Front Hall on family activity days during August.
